This year's Carnaby Christmas lights are set to be a kaleidoscope of pop culture iconography featuring well-known British and seasonal figures.

Lighting up Soho during the festive season since 1997, Carnaby's Christmas installations are always a little bit extra, and this year's installation, Carnaby Welcomes The World, embraces this wholly.

Due to turn on on Tuesday, November 8, the immersive display takes the most iconic pieces from the past 25 displays and brings them together in a rather epic installation that incorporates 14 different themes.

Shining brightly this year, is an underwater seascape, rainbows, oversized fairy lights and giant snowmen.

Sixties inflatables, a medley of butterflies and collaborations with two of the world's most famous bands; the Rolling Stones and Queen are also illuminated.

A feast for the eyes, hunt for the Stone's tongue and lyrics from Bohemian Rhapsody scrawled in neon font amongst the palm trees and oversized robins.

Find the installation on Carnaby Street, Foubert's Place, Ganton Street and Newburgh Street.

Once again, Carnaby has partnered with charity Choose Love to raise funds for refugees around the world.

The lights will be switched on Tuesday, November 8, in an event that sees more than 100 of the area's shops, bars and restaurants come together for a shopping and dining bash.

Between 5pm-9pm, live music, discounts and in-store happenings will take place.
