Always a festive treat, Skate at Somerset House brings a bit of festive magic to central London...

Skate under the stars and in the shadow of a 40 foot Christmas Tree this festive season when Skate at Somerset House with Moët & Chandon returns this November.
A staple in London's festive calendar, Skate transforms Somerset House's impressive neo-classical courtyard into a whimsical, festive destination, made picture perfect with that huge Christmas tree.
The skating rink will open during the day and into the evening, and will host a programme of festive fun to suit all ages, from Wednesday, November 16.
The series of Skate Lates sees takeovers by Deptford Northern Soul Club, ESAE Sisters (a east and southeast Asian LGBTQ+ organisation), contemporary electronic music producers nonclassical and a string of DJs playing club bangers.
A skate school will help novice, rusty or unsteady skaters, and kid clubs sessions for child children aged 6-10 will allow little ones to cut their teeth on the ice in a fun and safe way.
The Chilled Out sessions, held on weekday mornings, run at a reduced capacity and are designed for skaters who benefit from a quieter and more spacious setting.
While wheelchair users can attend any session, there are dedicated sessions for wheelchair users as well (Nov 27&30)
Bringing the glam to rink, Skate's partner Moët & Chandon are supplying the fizz and cocktails (the rink-side bar has non-boozy beverages to warm you up too), and Jimmy Garcia will bring cosy Alpine dining to Skate, in partnership with Switzerland tourism.
Tickets (from £10/£7.50) for Skate At Somerset House with Moët & Chandon go on sale Friday, September 30.
