One of London's biggest festive pop ups is back again, bigger than ever...

I know, we haven't even had Halloween yet and so it may feel premature, but Christmas has already arrived, at Selfridges and least, it's going to be big.

With just 10 weeks to go until the big day, the Oxford Street retailer has announced its Christmas Shop is its biggest one to date.

Already open on the department store's fourth floor, the festive pop up is bigger than last year's by 20 per cent.

There's more than 1,200 baubles to look at, up by 35 per cent from 2021, and half of these are exclusive to Selfridges.

Some of these are kitsch and fun like a serve of hot fries, while others aim to be more inclusive. Available at the Christmas Shop, March Muses is a black-owned British brand and the only supplier of Christmas decorations of colour in the UK.

More than half of the decorations (60 per cent) on offer are by Project Earth labelled, meaning they are a more planet-friendly option.

Selfridge's Project Earth edit includes reusable Christmas crackers, snow baubles made from recycled, upcycled or sustainable materials, and a selection of wreaths made from pre-loved decorations sourced from charity shops.

Come Thursday, October 27, Selfridges will launch Christmas in full both in store and online.

The iconic festive window displays will return and from Friday, November 25, Santa and his elves will be visiting the department store daily, spreading Christmas joy.
