A nightmare for some, pure joy for others; indoor skydiving is coming to Greenwich...

Replicating the (sickening) feeling of freefalling, indoor skydiving is coming to Greenwich.

You've probably seen something similar on TikTok or Instagram; a person kitted out in a dare-devil outfit of sorts tries to hover above a jet of air in a vertical air tunnel, sometimes nailing it while other times flailing around like an inflatable man outside a discount tyre shop. Well, this could be you.

iFLY comes to the O2 arena this December, offering those who dare the chance to skydive without the effort of going up in a plane or the risk that comes with jumping out of a moving one.

Opening on Thursday, December 15, thrill-seekers are welcome to try out iFLY's world class vertical wind tunnel for themselves, with their friends and family.

Sessions are open to adults and children as young as three years old, and run for 60 minutes. They include a pre-flight briefing, infrastructure training and of course, the flight.

For those who want to watch rather than participate, there's a 360-degree viewing platform available to for spectators to watch the show for free.

High-definition cameras will capture the flight as well, so you know just how good you look while fighting gravity.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving opens Thursday, December 15. Tickets start at £69.99 and go on sale Friday, October 7.
