Bacchanalia is set to sizzle when the Mayfair restaurant launches its red-hot party series, Vulcanalia.

It may be a confusing word to pronounce, but the message is clear, Bacchanalia's (also confusing to pronounce) new party series is going to set the night ablaze.

Inspired by Vulcan, the God of Fire, the first 'theatrical dining experiences' takes place on Friday, February 24.

Keeping in theme with Bacchanalia's Greco-Roman riff on decadent dining that boasts with a wall-to-floor mural and four Damien Hirsts, these evenings come with fire performers, live music and a Greek Italian menu.

Diners are met by fire breathers as they enter the restaurant, decked out as Vulcan's playground in feisty reds, turmeric and terracotta.

Performers will be on throughout the night, first to narrate Vulcan's story and to mark the God's arrival to the restaurant.

After this, the cast of Vulcan's entourage will roam Bacchanalia entertaining guests.

Deep house DJs Valeron, who will bring his five-piece band, and DJ Jean Claude Ades will bring the sounds of Mykonos and Ibiza to the party.
