Temporary Closure of
Style Road, Northgate and Plain Pond
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Style Road - from the junction with North Street to the junction with Spring Gardens; Northgate - for its entire length; and Plain Pond - for its entire length. A total distance of 659 metres. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution to replace decayed poles and carry out overhead cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 6th October 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2022 and last until 21st October 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 9 days.
