1 Bags: Inside Out Exhibition, V&A Museum, South Kensington
It’s your last chance to catch this fine exhibition as it finishes on January 16. Anyone who has ever laboured over finding the perfect bag will know that there’s no such thing – but there are some pretty incredible ones out there. Featuring innovated designs from Mulberry to Karl Lagerfeld, Bags: Inside Out showcases the first ever Birkin, Winston Churchill’s despatch box and Carrie Bradshaw’s Fendi Baguette, as well as taking audience members through the functionality, craftsmanship and power in a bag.

2 Vegan set menu at Norma, Fitzrovia
For Veganuary, Norma has created a Sicilian-inspired vegan set menu (£50 per person) for anyone looking for a non-meaty meal out which features warming, dishes perfect for these cold nights such as stuffed red peppers and pumpkin tortellini. For those dining out with as group of friends or family, the Vegan Feasting Menu (£55 per person) is designed to be shared and includes homemade focaccia and roasted whole broccolo Romanesco. If you’re going full-detox post Christmas, the restaurant has created five mocktails you can try too.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to style flowers into smashing arrangements working with colour, texture and shapes. You’ll work with seasonal flowers which you select and then transform into a stunning wild bouquet, full of fragrance and echoing the dramatic wild arrangements Petersham Nurseries are known for.

4 Ice skating at the Natural History Museum, South Kensington
The ice-skating rink at the Natural History Museum wraps up on January 16, so this week is your last chance at some festive fun. It actually really is your last chance for a spin in the iconic festive rink as this festive season was the last time the rink will pop up, as the museum plans to transform the gardens into a hub for urban wildlife. Skate at Somerset House is also finishing up this week.

5 Leadenhall Market walks, City
Leadenhall Market is hosting a weekly evening walking tour which is a great way to discover the history of the market while gently clocking up that step count. The walk will explore Leadenhall’s 2,000 year history and touches on graveyards, Victorian sewers, Dick Whittington’s public toilets, Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley and the London 2012 marathon route. So it’s not just your average walk.
