Greenwich Peninsula has announced its Summer Sessions 2022 programme, and it is a corker...

Running from June through to September and spanning music, outdoor film, art and foodie events and pop-ups, the free programme is full of colour, fun and entertainment the whole family can enjoy.

Highlights include the Jazz Weekender, a weekend-long jazz festival featuring Women in Jazz and Clonmell Jazz Social (June 18-19).

Partnering for the first time with the Real food festival to host a string of weekly farmers markets filled with stalls offering artisan producers and independent food business. This one runs for 12 weeks, on the weekend with times and days to be confirmed.

There's also the Outdoor Summer Film Festival screening, cult classics and indie films frim June 25 to August 27. This event is ticketed and seats start from £6.

You can also catch Wimbledon and Tour de France on the big screen. To catch the action, head down to the Design District on July 9-10 and July 24.

Fandangoe SKIP is a sustainable therapy kiosk which aims to tackle the taboos surrounding mental health and grief, and run in collaboration with SKIP Gallery., The Loss Project and Caukin Studio.

The kiosk will deliver ice-cream, and workshops on creativity as catharsis, which people can access in person or online across two weekends, July 2-3, and 9-10.

Designer Yinka Illori will bring his vibrant designs to creative staging and playscapes, artist Felipe Pantone will present his public art installation, Quick Tide, and Camille Walala will also bring her playful designs to the peninsula through a series for colourful mini golf courses, floor games and ping pong.

There's also interactive performances, art and a carnival to get you dancing the night away.
