Chelsea’s Courtfield Gardens teamed up with the South Kensington office of Knight Frank to host its annual summer party this year. The attendees enjoyed a fun-filled evening and helped raise over £12,000 for charity
Knight Frank supported The Pluto Appeal and the Children’s Hospital Trust Fund at a fun and fabulous evening held in the beautiful Courtfield Gardens this June.
Guests enjoyed two live music artists and a DJ along with street food, wine bars and a live auction with Channel 4’s Nick Carter. The event raised £12,700 pounds, taking the total to £35,390 that has been raised since Knight Frank’s involvement years ago.
The event takes place every summer to raise money for The Pluto Appeal and the Children’s Hospital Trust Fund. This cause is dedicated to funding the first robotic system in southern England that has the technology to operate on babies and children. The robot goes by the name of Pluto and it helps to promote faster healing times, while reducing the chance of children suffering from infection.
The Chelsea and Westminster Children’s Hospital has now completed one of its biggest appeals to raise over £1 million to supply the most advanced robotic surgical systems. However, each operation the robot performs requires a different set of tools, and the hospital is still in need of instruments for efficient use of the robot.
