Enjoy a cocktail while taking in some of London’s most iconic sites – including the famous red double decker – at the London Transport Museum’s Friday Lates summer series
The London Transport Museum in Covent Garden has always been a hit with kids but now adults can get in the action too with a series of late night openings this summer called Friday Lates.
Kicking off this Friday 20 May, transport fans can take a peek at new exhibition, Designology – Shaping London – which celebrates London’s internationally recognised iconography and what an influence it has had on our lives – whilst sipping on a cocktail or two. On the night you’ll also find a bar, a vinyl-only DJ, a quiz and curator-led tours.
And if you can’t make this Friday, don’t worry there are two more fab evenings to look out for – a Friday Late with the theme of Colour will take place on 9 September, and a Friday Late exploring 20th century design will take place on 18 November.
Tickets cost £12 (£10 concessions) and are available online at ltmuseum.co.uk and on the door. Alternatively, you can download the free London Transport Museum app which offers exclusive content and offers.
