A striking floating flower installation has launched at Canary Wharf’s Jubilee Park fountains in the days leading up to Diwali.
The Hindu festival of Diwali, also known as the Festival of Light, marks the triumph of light over dark and good over evil, and is the biggest and brightest of all the Hindu celebrations.
Inspired by the Indian artwork of Rangoli, where patterns are created using colourful powder, Canary Wharf Group has commissioned Richard Bragg from RB Floral Design to create a number of illuminated flower installations, which will float in the water features of Jubilee Park for a week.
The free-to-visit floating flower installations will be in place from Monday 9 November until Sunday 15 November and careful steps have been taken to ensure the installation can be enjoyed outdoors in a Covid-secure manner.
