London’s most unique gourmet experience returns to the capital this September

Love alfresco dining? London in the Sky, a 22-seat restaurant suspended 25 metres above the city, is about as open-air as it gets.

The concept will return from 17 – 30 September and this time, the St Katherine’s Docks location means guests can enjoy iconic views of Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and beyond.

The even better news is some of London’s most famous chefs have signed up to serve their signature menus to securely-fastened customers at the sky-high table this year.

So far, these include Dan Doherty of Duck & Waffle, Robert Ortiz of Lima, Sophie Michell of Pont Street and Tom Aikens of Tom’s Kitchen with further chefs to be announced nearer the opening time. Guests will also be welcomed with a Champagne Taittinger reception and will enjoy their food with wines supplied by Villa Maria.

Of course, dining with a view doesn’t come cheap. Breakfast in the Sky tickets are £50 per head, Lunch in the Sky is £125 per head, Taittinger in the Sky is £75 per head and Dinner in the Sky is £200 per head. Tickets are available to book at eventsinthesky.co.uk from 17 July.
