Chelsea is for the dogs this August bank holiday as it transforms into dog-owner heaven all in the name of charity.

Raising money for Dogs Trust, the west London neighbourhood will line its streets with a stack of events and entertainment for humans and dogs on Saturday, August 27.

For Chelsea Dogs Day, more than 50 businesses and retailers will participate in the day, including Anya Hindmarch, Prada, and Ralph Lauren, which will all host in-store events, hydration stations and treats.

The stand out event is the dog-themed market, Four Legged Foodies, held at Duke of York Square (10-4pm).

It will host 20 food, art and accessories stallholders from some of the most coveted doggy brands, including leather collars by Bashe, Sniffe & Likkit grooming and fragrance products and treats from Happy Paws and Claws.

Other highlights includes dog-friendly cinema screenings, doggy brunches and teas in many of the neighbourhoods hotels and restaurants, free bones, dog-friendly ice-cream, paw-secco for the booze hound and floral dog collars from Moyses Stevens.

There are 'pawtrait' artists and photographers, paw massage for The Organic Pharmacy and all the designer dog accessories you could ever want and more.

Chelsea Dogs Day is on August bank holiday, Saturday, August 27.
