Jools Holland at Hampton Court, Paloma Faith in Regent’s Park or Goldfrapp at the Old Royal Naval College, there are some seriously civilised music events coming to London this summer

1 Home Coming Festival, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre 1st June

The inaugural Home Coming Festival is being hosted by private members’ club Home House on 1st June in Regent’s Park. Open to everyone, members and non-members, the event will see live acts such as Paloma Faith and Sophie Ellis-Bextor peform alongside celebrity DJs. Set in the magical Open Air Theatre, right in the middle of London, this ain’t no wellies and tents muddy affair. Food and drink will be prepared by the team from the club, which includes Jeremy Brown, formerly of the Ritz. Tickets go on sale on Monday 7th April for £155.25 with £150 of the proceeds going to the Elton John Aids Foundation.

2 Hampton Court Palace Festival, Hampton Court, 11th-25th June

Listen to superstars Jools Holland, Dionne Warwick or The Beach Boys in the Tudor Base Court of Hampton Court Palace, while a spectacular firework display goes on around you. Arrive early and set up a picnic in the East Front Gardens before it gets dark, or buy one of prepared by Seasoned Events, which costs £75 for two people and includes a bottle of wine. Or for something really special, there are Waterside Gazebos (£200, not including food) to hire for up to 10 people. Lit up by lanterns and served by dedicated drinks waiters, this is alfresco dining at its best. Fancier still are the VIP packages, with fine dining in the State Apartments before the concert. 3 Greenwich Music Time, the Old Royal Naval College, 20th-23rd August

Just as impressive as Hampton Court, the Old Royal Naval College is the backdrop for Greenwich Music Time on the banks of the Thames. Jools Holland will also be performing here, along with Goldfrapp, Russell Watson and The Australian Pink Floyd, who aren’t just any old tribute band. There will also be special guests on each night. Gold and Platinum VIP packages are available, which include top seats, either front row or band A, a drinks reception and buffet, access to a VIP bar and entrance, along with a host to look after you. Tickets are on sale now and start from £33.
