The 27th edition of Meltdown sees Grace Jones bring her indomitable and iconic touch to one of the UK's most prestigious music festivals, encompassing an eclectic mix of artists and musical genres.
Highlights include Grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo (Jun 12), who performs her latest album Mother Nature.
Queer feminist pop legend Peaches, brings her bolshy, punky and explosive show to Royal Festival Hall (Jun 11).
Dry Cleaning (Jun 13) and Sky Ferreira (Jun 16) finish up at Prima Vera Sounds in Barcelona to join the A-list line up as well.
There's also a Roll Up to the Bumper roller skating session, complete with live music, so get your skates on for this one, quite literally.
And of course, Grace Jones will perform as well (Jun 19).
Grace Jones joins the likes of Laurie Anderson, John Peel, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Jarvis Cocker and Patti Smith as curator of the festival.
Gigs are individually ticketed, and prices start from free.
Grace Jones' Meltdown festival runs from June 10 to 19 at the Southbank Centre. For tickets and more information, visit southbankcentre.co.uk
