Marking the launch of Sky Arts series, Anyone Can Sing, opera singer and a series singing mentor Nicky Spence is offering free singing masterclasses to help you perfect your pitch, tone and to hit the right notes.
All ages and abilities are welcomed to join Nicky’s classes, which the English National Opera and Sky Arts have also helped to put on.
Two sessions will run on the day, at 2pm and at 3.30pm, and the Speakers’ Corner state will be open for impromptu performances throughout the day.
Anyone Can Sing puts some of Britain’s worst singers through their paces, transforming their singing voice from cat-screech to song-bird, proving that anyone can sing with a little help.
Series participants will be mentored by English National Opera’s vocal coaches, who will take participants through vocal technique and stage presence, as well as setting a series of musical challenges.
The first episode airs on March 30 on Sky Arts, Freeview and NOW.
