The award-winning Creative Craft show is arriving at Farnborough International from 1st – 3rd September. The weekend will see the return of exciting workshops, expert-led demonstrations, and inspiring make and take sessions. With over 100 stands filled with crafty supplies, tools and projects, this weekend will be an unmissable event for hobbyists and crafters.

Embracing the art of Hygge, this year the Creative Craft Show will bring a cozy feel, encouraging visitors to adopt a new craft hobby for Autumn/Winter as the shorter and darker evening approach.

Terri Hignett from ICHF, The Creative Craft Show organisers said: “We’re promoting mindfulness and self-care this season and encourage you to find a new crafty hobby to help you have a calm and cosy Autumn/Winter. Imagine being able to curl up with a blanket and focus solely on crafting by candlelight as the dark evenings draw in – bliss!”

The Resident:

Brand new to the Creative Craft Show this year is Suffolk based textile artist and tutor, Yvonne Pratt. Yvonne will lead an exciting demonstration and workshop on how to create your very own fabric art collage. Using a range of materials and handcrafted techniques such as hand dyed fabrics, printed fabrics and simplistic embroidery stitches and embellishments, Yvonne will share her tips and techniques on creating scenic landscape artwork.

Visitors to the Creative Craft Show can pick up tips and advice from the Make & Take sessions mini workshops where they can try their hand at new crafts and test products out before they buy.

A special feature at this year’s show will be the Japanese Embroidery Guild, a community of individuals who are passionate about traditional embroidery techniques. Visitors to the Creative Craft Show will be offered a unique opportunity to engage with their demonstrations and even have a go themselves through their workshops.

The Resident:

From macramé, free-motion embroidery to batik art and needle felting, visitors can get involved with an amazing selection of demonstrations and bookable in advance workshops offering the chance to try something completely different or extend their skills with specialist crafters. With more than 100 exhibitors, the show is the place to be for all the very latest supplies, ideas, and innovations in the craft & hobby world.
