Kew Bookshop has launched a new award to celebrate World Book Day for local state-funded primary schools in Richmond, Ealing, Wandsworth, Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham. The schools are being encouraged to enter the bookshop’s Achieving through Reading Sponsorship Award, to be in with the chance to win a year’s worth of literacy support between World Book Day 2015 and World Book Day 2106. 

The sponsored school will receive:

A free book for every child in the school on World Book Day 2015 (5th March).
£200 of quality, new books for your library or classrooms.
Two free author/illustrator visits during the sponsorship year 
A free assessment of your school library by one of our specialists, with curriculum-based recommendations for improvement.
A 20% discount on any orders placed during the sponsorship year and free delivery over £50.
