I have serious house envy for almost every room on interiors blog Mad About the House, founded by interiors journalist Kate Watson-Smyth. The pictures are simply gorgeous – showing achievable looks and they are coupled with Kate’s practical advice about adding colour, pattern and new looks to your home. She will even answer individual interiors questions you have in her section Your House and has an interior design consultancy. Kate’s Instagram is aesthetically pleasing, to say the least… it’s no wonder that she has 124K followers!

Acclaimed interior designer Abigail Ahern does homes with a fresh attitude and original style. Her blog is full of covetable rooms that will have you reaching for the paint chart – the designer even has her own range and an incredible 82K followers on Instagram. She has a keen eye for unusual but beautiful spaces – there’s not a Scandi-shabby chic room in site – and freely shares her expert knowledge on how to recreate them at home.
