Cadence, the area’s latest residential launch, located just by Lewis Cubitt Park, has soaked up the industrial heritage of King’s Cross to create a new architecturally striking urban landmark.
Designed by award-winning Alison Brooks Architects, the development of 103 private residential homes is set around a large colonnaded courtyard with a tranquillity water feature, while a distinctive terracotta façade featuring vaults and archways that reflect the ‘rhythm’ of the area.
Those same dramatic arches are echoed in the floor-to-ceiling windows of the top-floor, panoramic corner apartments, which featuring private recessed balconies to make the most of the south-facing vistas.

The 103 studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments radiate light, warmth and character, with 51 different spatial configurations offering flexible living options for individuals, and interior design led by Conran & Partners.
Sixty units within Cadence will be managed by Pocket Living, offering design-led rental homes for middle-earning local workers who positively contribute to the community.
Residents will also have access to a number of roof terraces, as well as a flexible studio space on the 10th floor, but if the office beckons.
The location is hard to beat. It’s just 800 steps from King’s Cross Station, and moments away from plenty of green and open spaces, including Lewis Cubitt Square, Granary Square, Pancras Square, Gasholders Park and Regent’s Canal.
King’s Cross’ industrial past has inspired 50 new and repurposed buildings, including Coal Drops Yard, based on a pair of re-imagined Victorian coal buildings and now home to 100,000 sq ft of shops, bars and restaurants.
