Interchange – a concept space for start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovators – recently launched its flagship space, The Atrium in Camden at Stables Market. Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio has designed the space, covering it in futuristic, deep blue tones paired against metallics and stark whites

The Atrium complex is set across four floors, with private offices, a courtyard, a restaurant, a café and even an innovation lab, along with a gym scheduled to open later this year. Atrium Kitchen also launched this month, boasting a contemporary British cuisine and a premium drinks menu. As if this wasn’t enough of a bespoke service, Interchange will also offer businesses access to industry experts and affiliate investors at their new flagship space.

The vivid yet calming visuals, with deep, moody navy tones, paired against silvers and browns, are the creative work of Tom Dixon, whose past works boast the likes of Shoreditch House and the Mondrian Hotel. The sweeping, striking architecture is the result of Barr Gazetas who put together the complex floor plans, featuring a central spiraling walk way, covered terraces and vertical gardens.

Commenting on the launch, Interchange Managing Director, Vanessa Butz, said: ‘Since the opening of our first Camden-based co working space, Triangle, at the end of last year, Interchange has experienced high demand from both new and more established businesses and has had some fantastic tenants move in across a variety of sectors, including retail, healthcare, fintech and design.’

‘In fact, demand has been so strong, Atrium is launching with over 50% of the space already pre-let and will offer further state-of-the-art co working for Interchange tenants, as well as strengthen the start-up ecosystem in the local area.’
