While the London housing market might have slowed down ahead of the general election in May, London’s property developers aren’t stopping for anyone. Here are 9 new builds that have caught our attention this month
1 Kings Avenue, Clapham
With property prices in Clapham having risen by 20% in the last year, according to Rightmove, it’s clear the area is something of a London hotspot. Several new developments are tapping into the area’s popularity. 2 The Yard, Clapham
Meanwhile, just around the corner from Kings Avenue, The Yard in Clapham North will comprise 59 one- to three-bedroom shared ownership apartments, most with private outdoor space. Prices are from £149,100 based on a 40% share of a full market value of £372,750. 3 The Printworks, Clapham
Making it a hat-trick for Clapham, The Printworks development is now selling off its second phase of apartments, which are close to Stockwell and Oval Underground Stations, making the City and West End that bit closer. 4 Fulham Riverside, Fulham
Looking for a waterside home? The latest phase at Fulham Riverside has just been launched; Riverwalk and Tower East offer a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes, all with private outdoor space with river views, and some with dual aspect views over the gardens. When complete in 2019, Fulham Riverside will deliver 401 homes, from apartments to townhouses, with a wealth of amenities on the doorstep including a proposed waterfront café, badminton court, fitness suite and 24-hour concierge service. Over in east London, Curtain Place is a collection of nine new one and two and three bedroom apartments. The site will comprise a total of 26 one, two and three bedroom apartments.
