In light of the growing trend to move out of London, Hamptons International is to host a Country Roadshow at a number of its branches in October to advise residents considering moving out of the capital
The latest research from leading estate agent Hamptons International indicates that in the last 12 months, 73,000 homes outside of the capital were purchased by Londoners, which represents a 20% increase in London departures since 2014. Reasons or making the move include excellent schools, quality of life, more space and value for money.
In light of the growing trend to move out of London, a Hamptons International Country Roadshow is set to take place in a number of its branches across the capital. On Saturday 8 October 2016, the estate agency’s Blackheath, Battersea, Chiswick, Muswell Hill and Kensington branches will play host to London based residents considering a move outside of the capital.
Property experts from across Hamptons International’s country network will be on hand to provide insight into their regions while also showcasing available sale or rental properties within their locality using digital technology. The estate agency’s area of operation covers London and south of the UK, taking in the commuter belt territory as well as counties further afield.
Aside from sharing market knowledge and property expertise, those representing the country branches will also provide a comprehensive view of area information, taking in schools and commuter timetables.
In addition, there will be activities for children including face painting and colouring both of which will comprise a countryside theme. For adults, a Guess the Price competition will be run across each of the five participating branches while light refreshments will be provided for all of those in attendance.
If you would like your property to be included in the Roadshow, or if you’re looking to sell your property in London and move to the country, please contact your local Hamptons International branch.
