Over a third of homes at Anthology Deptford Foundry, a development of new apartments in south east London have already been sold, following a successful off-plan sales launch in late May
In the initial release phase, 23 homes have been sold and interested buyers are advised to act quickly to attain one of the remaining apartments, due to their popularity.
The new neighbourhood will feature 276 properties in eight buildings. Each one, two and three bedroom apartment has a private decked balcony or terrace plus communal landscaped areas and courtyards. Prices start from £345,000.
Ilona Smyth and Hamish Hossack were one of the first buyers to reserve at the development: ‘On viewing the show apartment at Anthology Deptford Foundry we fell in love with the high level of design coupled with the fixtures and fittings that come as standard. We liked that the industrial history of the area has been subtly captured in the finishing touches of the apartment. The open-plan kitchen/living room will be perfect for having friends & family over and we look forward to having our own outside space. The fact that there is an integrated dishwasher and full size fridge-freezer means that there is one less thing on the “to buy” list before we move in to our new home.’
Master bedrooms are complete to the highest specifications, with fitted carpets and built-in wardrobes featuring internal lights that activate when the door is opened. The master bedrooms in the two and three bedroom apartments have spacious en-suites with a walk in shower.
Ben Allen, Project Director at Anthology comments on Deptford: ‘Other areas have recently shone in the spotlight but Deptford is now becoming cemented as the future of the up-and-coming swathe of London. The sense of community that flows through the vibrant streets and the eclectic mix of local businesses create a sense of closeness that is hard to find in many London boroughs. Deptford has a great deal of redevelopment taking place at the moment and Anthology is excited to be adding to this transformation.
‘Following the amount of interest gained from the launch we are encouraging those looking to buy in the area to visit Anthology Deptford Foundry to see what we have to offer.’
Anthology Deptford Foundry is easily accessible to surrounding city areas. Both Deptford and New Cross stations are within walking distance to the development, offering direct connections to London Bridge (6 mins), Cannon Street (13 mins) and Greenwich (12 mins).
Along with open market homes, Anthology Deptford Foundry, designed by Rolfe Judd Architecture, will provide a mix of social rented homes and shared ownership as well as premises offering creative studios that will be ideal for local artists. The development will also include two new play spaces and landscaped areas to promote biodiversity.
The sales and marketing suite along with a two bedroom show apartment is currently open for interested buyers to check out. For more details on the homes being created at the Deptford Foundry development, visit the Anthology London website: anthology.london or call 020 7526 9229
