A travelling, immersive and wonderous world has popped up at a north London theatre with the aim to inspire a love of reading in children.

The Lost Lending Library, which also aims to unlock creative storytelling within children, is currently on at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre.

The theatrical project is produced by Punchdrunk Enrichment, the charity born out of the trailblazing immersive theatre company Punchdrunk Theatre - the makers of the sublime, brain-warping The Burnt City.

The charity is founded on the same principles as the theatre company, and so The Lost Lending Library is an impeccable large-scale world which beckons children to interact with its expansive set.

Children are invited to play with the books and the objects within the library's many departments to discover whimsical delights - such as a tree grown out of a book or paper birds taking flight from a book's pages.
