1 Go see an outdoor flick
You're spoilt for choice here. Battersea Power Station, Rooftop Cinema Club in Peckham and Stratford all have outdoor cinemas for the summer, and Hackney Bridge has films on its new big screen. King's Cross' Screen on the Canal wraps up in Coal Drops Yard on Sunday, August 7, so now would be a good time to check it out if you haven't already.
2 CAMRA Great British Beer Festival, Kensington
Sample tipples from more than 500 breweries as well as ciders, perries, wine and gin. There will also be music to enjoy and food to feast on. Given that the event is put on by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), here's the place to get stuck into and try out cask ales too.

3 Beavertown Brewery's 10th Birthday Bash, Tottenham
To mark it's 10-year birthday, the brewery is hosting a birthday bash in its Tottenham taproom. Expect music, food and naturally beer, which will flow in 'unlimited' quantities.Tickets are £55 a pop and this gets you unlimited drinks, a main dish, a goodie bag filled with merch, and entry into one of the two sessions for the day. .

4 Phantom Peak, Surrey Quays
One for the kids or a family day out, this fully-realised Western town is conveniently located in south London and opens this week. It comes with a flowing waterfall, and bars and eateries serving up vegetarian and plant-based food only, immersive shops, a bowling alley and a boating lake. Guests are invited to go on the network of trails to discover the fully immersive world that is brought to life by actors and elaborate sets. Block out an evening, afternoon or morning for this.

5 TriYoga x Bowelbabe Charity Workshop, Camden
Championing Dame Deborah James' legacy of bowel cancer awarness and fundraising for cancer research, Triyoga Camden will host a 'gorgeous gut - befriending your bowel' workshop, with proceeds go to Deborah's charity, Bowelbabe. Go through guided sanskrit chanting, a digestive system-stimulating flow and finish on a crystal bowl sound healing session. And remember, check your poo!
