Win Two Tickets to Dine on Board the

Sadly, both ‘dining out’ and ‘the tube’ are pretty much out of bounds at present, but they won’t be forever. So we’d like to offer a little chink of light at the end of the tunnel, by offering up two tickets to dine on board east London’s is one of London’s most unique immersive dining experiences. The experience takes place on board a decommissioned 1960s Victoria line carriage, owned and stationed at The Pumphouse Museum in Walthamstow.

Three nights a week (when we’re not all on lockdown), the tube opens its doors to welcome 35 supperclub guests.

The was given a new lease of life when it was taken over by Nick Atkins and Head Chef Beatriz Maldonado (Bea) in 2018. Bea, who originally hails from Bogotá, Colombia, has created wonderful food for restaurants and supper clubs in Colombia, Argentina and London.

Her love of food was inspired by her grandfather, who would often take home unusual ingredients, and her grandmother, who was an excellent cook, particularly for sweet stuff.

Bea originally studied to be an engineer, but a summer job at an American resort, which turned out to be a training facility for the American Culinary institute, she realised that being a chef was a career opportunity.

Fast forward to now and she’s crafting delicious, seasonal six-course Latin American-inspired menus for, and you and a lucky friend could be in with a chance of winning two tickets to dine on board.

The prize includes a six-course meal plus a complimentary drink on arrival – a prize worth £98. The competition closes at 11.45pm on 27 April 2020, and the tickets will be valid from August 2020 till August 2021.
