WIN: A NIGHT OUT FOR TWO AT MONDRIAN LONDON

Mondrian London is giving away two tickets to Damian Barr’s Literary Salon session with Owen Sheers, Cathy Rentzenbrink and Ryan Gattis, and dinner for two at Sea Containers

Mondrian London at Sea Containers is continuing its series of Literary Salons hosted by Times writer and Radio 4 presenter Damian Barr with its next event on 8 June, which will see Owen Sheers, Cathy Rentzenbrink and Ryan Gattis read from their latest works. The Literary Salons are held in the hotel’s rooftop lounge the Rumpus Room and serve up a dose of culture for literary enthusiasts.

The theme running through each story on 8 June is a single life-changing event, with poet and novelist Own Sheers delivering an excerpt of his literary thriller I Saw a Man, whilst Cathy Rentzenbrink reveals what happens after her brother was knocked down by a car with a chapter of her memoir The Last Act of Love: The Story of My Brother and His Sister, and finally Ryan Gattis will be exploring L.A. riots in what the New York Times describes as ‘a high octane speedball of a read.’

The winner of the two tickets will arrive at the Mondrian London from 5.30pm for dinner at the hotel’s flagship Sea Containers restaurant, readings begin at 7.30pm.

If you’re not lucky enough to win tickets to 8 June’s salon, then be sure to book tickets for up-coming events. For example, on 7 September bestselling author Jojo Moyes will debut Me After You, the sequel to her worldwide hit Me Before You (currently in pre-production as a major Hollywood film, staring Emilia Clarke). Jojo will be joined by Caitlin Moran, making her Salon debut.

Tickets for 8 June are now sold out, but tickets for 7 September and 9 November 2015 can be booked online at eventbrite.co.uk for £15 each, including a welcome cocktail per person.
