WIN DINNER FOR FOUR AT VAPIANO, BANKSIDE

Win dinner with wine for four people at Italian restaurant Vapiano, Bankside, where the pasta is fresh and the living is easy…

Taking inspiration from the old Italian proverb Chi va piano, va sano e lontano, meaning ‘if you have a relaxed approach to life, yours will be long and healthy’, Vapiano is busy bringing its laid-back Italian food to the world. Now with 152 restaurants in London, New York, Stockholm and Sydney, the Italian restaurant must be doing something right.

In a nod to its heritage, every Vapiano has a 100-year old olive tree plus a herb garden, with fresh herbs on each table for diners to season their own food. Not that the food needs it. Pasta dough is made fresh on site and turned into 11 different types of pasta on demand, from fusilli to spaghetti, campenelle to papardelle and even spelt pasta.

Pizza, salads and antipasti sit alongside the varied pasta menu, all of which are ordered directly from chefs at individual food stations and paid for via a smart-card payment system. Guests ‘tap in’ for each item they order using their Vapiano cards and pay at the front desk when they leave.

Vapiano currently has three UK locations, in London’s Great Portland Street, Bankside
and most recently Soho. We are giving one lucky reader a three-course dinner, with two bottles of wine, for four people in Vapiano Bankside.
