On Friday 17th October, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly will be hosting a dinner with the world-famous fashion and celebrity photographer Rankin as part of the London Restaurant Festival. Rankin has curated a three-course dinner inspired by the Italian cinematic masterpiece, Cinema Paradiso.
During the evening, 180 guests will enjoy a Peroni Nastro Azzurro Piccola reception followed by a screening of Rankin’s favourite film in the Princess Anne Theatre, then end with dinner prepared by BAFTA 195’s Head Chef Anton Manganaro.
On the menu is Italian street food canapés such as arancina a carne (rice ball stuffed with ragu) and cazzillo (potato croquettes) followed by carpaccio of Loch Duart salmon with wild fennel and orange salad, stuffed belly of Dingley Dell pork with polenta, braised treviso, pine nuts and sultanas, and for dessert, mini cannoli filled with chestnut, vanilla and chocolate cream with pistachio gelato.
