Coinciding with the release of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Art & Hue has released a new pop art collection inspired by Joanna Lumley – think Andy Warhol meets Patsy Stone
Ab Fab will make its way to cinemas on 1 July 2016, and now you can feast your eyes on Joanna Lumley’s new pop art collection. Inspired by the lovely Ab Fab actress, model and Bond-girl, the collection contains six original prints featuring bold colors and graphics.
Joanna Lumley gained a cult following and huge fan-base after six decades in iconic productions such as On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, The New Avengers, Sapphire & Steel and, of course, Ab Fab
, where she played the infamous magazine editor, Patsy Stone.
Art & Hue, which creates stylish pop art on various themes inspired by the 1960s, cult film & TV, and Mid-Century modernism – as well as bespoke works – has collaborated with Studiocanal for this collection. The team dug through Studiocanal’s extensive library of production and publicity photography at Pinewood Studios and discovered rare vintage photographs of the actress in the early years of her career, revamping them for a modern pop art feel.
The prints are available in 18 colours and 3 sizes, so everyone can find one they fancy. The prints are top quality and are are printed on 310gsm fine art archival matted paper made from 100% cotton, using pigment inks that last several lifetimes. All the prints can be purchased from £15 to £39 each.
