Photographs of Wimbledon’s tennis stars in action by sports photographer Duncan Grove will be on show at Cannizaro House
From the 21 June, and throughout the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, luxury Wimbledon hotel Cannizaro House will be showcasing an exhibition from the world-renowned sports photographer Duncan Grove, FRPS.
Having photographed The Championships for five years, Duncan Grove’s Photographic Exhibition will feature iconic tennis stars in action, together with further outstanding sports photography. His photographic exhibition will run for ten weeks and will feature over 70 photographs.
‘I am absolutely thrilled to have my work exhibited at such prestigious venue that is renowned for its celebration and promotion of fine art (as well as its sublime hospitality)! The fact that during The Championships Cannizaro House will be teeming with the great and good from the tennis world is a wonderful opportunity for me to show my work to a wider audience. Wimbledon tennis photography is my passion and I have an enormous respect for the event,’ says Duncan Groves.
Cannizaro House regularly plays host to tennis legends and Wimbledon fans. Keep your eyes peeled to spot the likes of Andy Murray or Roger Federer mingling at the bar with Serena Williams after a hard day on the courts.
With gorgeous views of Cannizaro Park to the rear, the newly refurbished 46 rooms and bathrooms have all been individually and artfully designed, in keeping with the look and feel of this Grade II listed building. Four poster beds covered in the finest crisp linens, goose down pillows, picture windows, silk wallpapers and deep marble bathtubs – all work together to ensure that a weekend at Cannizaro House is English country style at its most luxurious.
Rooms start from £195 including VAT and breakfast.
