Following the Government’s announcement that London is moving into Tier 4, Selfridges Christmas Market has now closed.

Open now, Selfridges first-ever Christmas Market combines Covid-secure open air shopping with some of London’s best street food and family friendly fairground rides.

A host of stalls, showcasing a number of small independent brands, offer rich pickings on the Christmas shopping front, with real Christmas trees, wreaths, decorations and hand-picked gifts and toys to choose from.

Look out for winter accessories from the likes of Acne Studios, Patagonia and Ganni, Christmas toys from brands such as FAO Schwarz, Rubiks Cube and Marvins Magic, and Christmas wreaths and centre pieces from Your London Florist.

The street food traders have been brought together by Dominic Cools-Lartigue, founder of Street Feast, one of London’s food market pioneers.

A total of nine food trucks and stalls line Edward Mews offering seasonal food and drink, from mulled wine and buttered rum to Venezuelan cuisine by Pabellon, North Indian street food by Gully, fresh pasta made in a giant wheel of grana Padano by Cheese Wheel, and Christmas market staple bratwurst hot dogs by Pop Dogs.

Plus, The Tramshed Project, a new space to eat, work and explore ideas in Shoreditch, will be serving an exclusive range of indulgent burgers and BBQ marinated meat by Chef Andrew Clarke (Brunswick House, St Leonards) and Chef Daniel Watkins (St Leonards).

And since it’s Christmas, a helter-skelter and carousel fairground rides will help spread festive cheer to both kids and grown ups.

Open daily throughout December from 4-9pm on weekdays and 12pm-9pm at weekends in compliance with the latest government guidance
