Pebblefest, a new eco-friendly festival, heads for London in April, bringing the capital’s first Ethical ‘High Street’ with it

Pebblefest, the first one-day eco-festival hosted by award-winning sustainable lifestyle platform, pebble, will see the installation of London’s first ethical ‘high street’, where you can shop your values, be that plastic-free, vegan or zero-waste.

Taking place at Flat Iron Square near Borough Market, Pebblefest will also feature inspiring talks and workshops from industry professionals, sustainable cocktails made from foraged ingredients, live music, good food by eco-conscious brands like Rude Health and even beer brewed using leftover bread.

Sponsored by organic veg distributor Abel & Cole, Innocent drinks, which will provide a bottle and plastic recycling station, and Too Good To Go, the anti-food waste app, the event will bring together ethical brands and charities like LUSH, Riverford, Pukka, Hubbub and TRAID for a celebration of planet-friendly fashion, food, skincare and homewares.

Visitors will be able to learn how to sew their own clothes, launch their own eco-brand, pick up vintage bargains from TRAID’s secondhand pop-up shop, and grab a free plant-based brunch from Rude Health.

You can also get eco-glittered (a festival must), sip an exclusively brewed pebblefest beer by Toast Ales, try a turmeric oat latte, join the Impact Up debate on how to get your voice heard and let loose to live music and DJs.

Pebble has quickly made a name for itself over the last two years as the go-to ethical lifestyle online magazine, covering eco-fashion, plastic-free living, eco-travel, and good food. Flat Iron Square is currently taking measures to be able to recycle all of its waste.

Pebblefest takes place on Saturday 27 April at Flat Iron Square, SE1. Tickets are £12 (under 12s free) and £1 from each ticket will go to one of pebble’s charity partners, Fashion Revolution Week or Feedback. To book see eventbrite.co.uk
