While the nation clapped our wonderful NHS workers last night, iconic buildings, monuments and stadiums turned blue to further champion the cause.

In London, the #LightItBlue campaign saw the likes of The Shard, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, Selfridges, Wembley Stadium and Canary Wharf One Canada Square turn blue.

Canary Wharf Group is also donating £50,000 to the East End Community Foundation’s (EECF) East End Emergency Fund (EEEF). The funds will be used to match grants given to support organisations in Tower Hamlets from foodbanks to groups supporting the elderly and vulnerable.

Each night this week, Wembley Park will pay tribute to our NHS workers with a special message of support on the display of Bobby Moore Bridge, the length of Olympic Way, and other locations across the neighbourhood.
