Chiswick Park’s firework display may be sold out, however you can still walk over hot coals in support of charity if you have the burning desire to do so…
Supporting Hounslow Action for Youth (HAY) a charity dedicated to helping young people reach their potential, a firewalk will take place at Chiswick Park as part of pre-firework display festivities this bonfire night.
Walking barefoot across smouldering embers may seem like a crazy idea, but in fact is designed to help transform fear and to inspire people to do things they didn’t think were possible – because if you can walk barefoot across hot embers at a temperature of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, than what can’t you do, really?
To take on this challenge, you must be aged 18-years or older.
Food and drink stalls, fire performers and musicians are also part of pre-firework entertainment, so you should get a crowd cheering you on.
When: Thursday, November 4
Time: Registration from 5.15pm, Fire Walk at 5.45pm; Pre-firework entrainment is 5pm-8pm.
Where: Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 5YA
