Calling all adventurous west London youngsters – the Bear Grylls Survival Academy in Ealing has an exciting new course for you!

The Bear Grylls Survival Academy is proud to launch Kids Survival Day Courses, which offer young people a rare chance to learn Bear’s extreme survival techniques. Following the success of the 24hr family courses, the team is now offering kids the opportunity to leave the parents behind and take on the challenges by themselves! The course is designed to give kids the opportunity to get back to basics, learn new skills, get outdoors and stay active.

The Kids Survival Day Courses will comprise of a combination of survival skills and adventure tasks set by Bear and his team. These are designed to put kids to the test and inspire the next generation of adventurers. Techniques taught will include learning how to build a fire, how to navigate in the wilderness, learning about natural foods, building a shelter, dynamic rescue techniques and learning Bear’s priorities of survival. The courses have been designed for children aged 9-14 years old by Bear and his close team of highly trained experts. It is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends and share a truly memorable and fun experience.

To help deliver the course, Bear Grylls Survival Academy have joined forces with Fit For Sport, the UK’s experts in engaging and educating kids. The first courses will launch during the Easter holidays – Monday 7th to Friday 11th April 2014 – at selected locations across London, Egham, Surrey and Hertfordshire and will run from 09.30am until 15.30pm.
