Tony Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon is re-staging his sparkling production of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale in-the-round at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall.
Running from 6-16 June 2019, the production, danced by the English National Ballet with some 130 dancers, is the latest of the world-renowned ballet company’s in-the-round productions, which have visited the Royal Albert Hall every 2-3 years since Swan Lake in 1997.
The inventive production combines magnificent sets and costumes, surprising theatrical tricks and lively choreography, all to the melodious tunes of Prokofiev’s sublime score, performed by English National Ballet Philharmonic.
