Always fancied yourself as the captain of your own vessel? Now you can be, with the latest immersive adventure by Bompas & Parr launching in February.
Test your skills as skipper as you navigate The Lost Lagoon, a new underground paradise inspired by Captain Henry Morgan, the world’s most famous buccaneer.
Located deep underground in Shepherd’s Bush, the delicious journey of discovery will require you to explore a series of islands, undertaking cocktail-based escapades and collecting rations to create your own rum punches.
‘Expect a mix between your best desert island fantasy with punch quests and neo-tiki party vibes,’ said Harry Parr. ‘This is set to be the most lavish experiential event for 2019 and our guests will help bring a party atmosphere and a bit of sunshine to gloomy London at the end of winter.’
As a budding buccaneer, you’ll navigate your ship through the indoor sea, picking up rum-based rations and progressively accumulating the knowledge you need to make the finest rum punches.

Armed with your recipe, you’ll be able to decipher a treasure map to find Captain Morgan’s hidden island lair, a party palace for an urban Hawaiian luau with a whirlpool cocktail station, beach-inspired food and entertainment, rum-based punches and tiki cocktails designed in collaboration with Hackney’s Scout bar.
The experience is designed to give punch – one of the oldest mixed drink categories, originally created by sailors making the most of their rum rations – a new lease of life, without the need for obscure ingredients or complex techniques.
Bompas & Parr and Captain Morgan have partnered with Landsec, owners of the West 12 shopping centre, to create 10,000 sq ft Lost Lagoon that boasts a 4,000 sq ft man-made lake.
Oh and the dress code? Neo-tiki, of course.
The Lost Lagoon runs from 1 February until 7 April 2019 in the basement of the West 12 shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush. Tickets are £20-£45, including two drinks (VIP tickets include additional challenges, an additional Captain Morgan cocktail and access to exclusive hidden areas). To book see lostlagoon.org
