Black Friday lands on 23 November 2018. The money-saving tradition originated in the USA and has since become the biggest retail event of the year here in the UK too. So where do you start? With three of the best Black Friday shopping destinations in London…

1 Amazon’s Home of Black Friday
Amazon is going all out for Black Friday with a pop-up space in Shoreditch packed with unique experiences, workshops, demos, samples, giveaways and, of course, the best of Amazon’s Black Friday Sale. The ‘Home of Black Friday’, which runs from 22-25 November on Shoreditch High Street, features hundreds of Amazon’s best Black Friday deals – all displayed within eight themed areas including a kitchen and living room space with an immersive gaming and technology zone and creative workshop; an interactive kids play area; two bedrooms with beauty and grooming parlours; a home entertainment theatre; and a relaxed bar space courtesy of the Amazon Beer, Wine and Spirits team. Big brands involved include Whole Foods Market, HP, Samsung, Lego, Xbox, Le Creuset, Sennheiser, Hotel Chocolate, Microsoft, PlayStation and Canon. What’s more, the pop up is open for 24 hours on Friday 23 November.

2 Black Friday at ICON Outlet  
The new ICON Outlet at the O2, which launched on 20 October, is preparing for Black Friday with live music, exciting new stores and, of course, some great offers available each day between Friday 23 and Monday 26 November. Offers include 40% off everything in store at ASICS, up to 70% off selected lines at Cath Kidston, 20% off at Ted Baker and more. Shoppers who sign up to the ICON Outlet newsletter online can gain exclusive access from 8am. The first 200 customers through the door can also enjoy free coffee and from The Gentlemen Baristas. What’s more, there will be surprise giveaways over the weekend with the chance to win Outlet gift cards, tickets for Up at The O2, and upcoming shows at The O2 arena. A free of charge on-site gift wrapping service will also be available, as well as the Shopping Drop, free to every customer over the Black Friday weekend. Recent store openings include Moss Bros, Radley London and Remus Uomo, with Karen Millen, Sunglass Hut and Osprey London due to launch soon.

3 Hamleys Biggest Ever Black Friday
Hamleys Black Friday offers run for 12 days, from Thursday 15 until Monday 26 November, with huge savings on hundreds of toys and games. Bag a bargain on top brands such as LEGO, Barbie, Playmobil, Superwings, Paddington, Fisher Price, Vtech, Thomas & Friends and Ravensburger games and puzzles. Highlights include the Nerf Modulus Regulator Blaster with Switch Fire Technology and over 1000 different combinations – was £95, now £35 – and a 21cm sitting Paddington Bear with 50% off – reduced from £227 to £113.50. There’s also Harry Potter CLUEDO, reduced from £30 to £24, a lightweight Angler Attack Drone, reduced from £70 to £35, and the LEGO Architecture Buckingham Palace dropped from £45 to £36.
