MULTIPLIED ART FAIR AT CHRISTIE’S

Christie’s contemporary art fair Multiplied returns to South Kensington next month for a feast of emerging talent and the biggest names in contemporary art all under one roof, plus there will be live interactive sessions and talks from world experts

Multiplied, Christies’ art fair, which runs during London’s Frieze week, returns to South Kensington from 17th-20th October for its fifth year with what promises to be its most exciting yet.

Showcasing some of the hottest new names in art together with the most established and world-recognised artists in the business, Multiplied will see works from over 40 contemporary galleries under one roof.

Eclectic prints, digital art, books and photography will sit alongside works of art by Damien Hirst, Gary Hume, William Kentridge, Sarah Lucas, Daido Moriyama, Cornelia Parker, Yinka Shonibare, David Shrigley, Gavin Turk and Rachel Whiteread.

Meanwhile, emerging talent from leading graduate art institutions such as the Slade School of Fine Art, the Royal College of Art and the University of the Arts London will have the opportunity to exhibit their art alongside the world’s best.

Among this year’s exhibitors at Multiplied, several of which are new to the Fair in 2014, are BEARSPACE, Flowers Gallery, Galerie Alex Daniels – Reflex Amsterdam, Keystone Editions, Marc Quinn, Modern Art Oxford, Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art, Paul Stolper Gallery, Tristan Barbarà editions and the Whitechapel Gallery.

Multiplied will also host an events programme of artists talks, panel discussions and special projects, details of which we will reveal in the coming weeks, but we can reveal one of the most anticipated events for Multiplied 2014 is the introduction of Live Printing sessions, in association with Rabley Contemporary and CFPR Editions, where artists will make prints and host printmaking demonstrations in front of an audience. Different aspects of printing will be explored, including traditional printmaking methods as well as the latest in 3-D printing techniques.
