The choice of dentistry options can be overwhelming, particularly when you’re trying to find a long-term fix for your teeth.

"Our full range of cosmetic dentistry and surgical procedures has something for everyone, whether patients want to improve their oral health, fully restore a row of teeth or even rejuvenate their skin,” says Kasia Radajewska from Angel Dental Implant Centre, a private and referral-accepting dental practice located in the heart of Westminster.

We chat to Kasia about the various treatments available for patients, the expertise of their dentists and how dental implants can improve your quality of life.

Q: What are the main dental services that you provide?

A: Our orthodontic treatments include Invisalign and Smilelign, with fixed or removable retainers, which help stabilise and maintain the position of your teeth. We also offer white fillings, tooth extractions, teeth whitening, hygienist services and even facial aesthetics.

From standard examinations to root canal procedures, we have a number of options available to improve the aesthetics and health of your teeth. Endodontic treatment (root canal treatment) is an extremely effective method of saving teeth from removal. It involves removing, shaping, cleaning and obturating root canals.

Implants are a fantastic restorative treatment for missing teeth, as they are custom-made to fit you. Replacing a missing or failing tooth with a single implant has great benefits over the alternative options of a bridge or denture.

Q: What is the process for having dental implants fitted?

A: An initial consultation is the very first step, providing us with an opportunity to understand the patient’s requirements and for them to ask us questions. Our principal dentist, Dr Reza Faridrad, is a certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who will examine your mouth and medical history to identify the ideal treatment. An additional CT scan may also be necessary.

The next stage is to provide the treatment that best suits the individual – this can range from procedures that are finished within a day to those that take slightly longer. Teeth in a day is an implant-based treatment, which enables patients to enjoy the results on the same day their implants are fitted. Traditionally, implants are placed in sockets in the jawbone and then left to heal for three to six months.

They are an excellent, same-day surgery option for patients with severe gum disease, an entire arch of missing teeth or who have a couple of decayed ones.

Q: Do you offer payment plans to assist patients with fees?

A: Yes, there are finance options available for patients considering dental implant treatment. Ensuring that we have simple, affordable ways to cover fees is one of our priorities and we accept referrals from GPs and NHS practices.

Our Treatment Finance is a popular option that spreads the cost of treatment over 12 months, with a zero per cent interest loan. These options have proven invaluable in providing high-quality, affordable dental care to a range of patients.

Q: Can you help patients with severe tooth and bone loss?

A: Absolutely, we have several treatments that are suited to people who may only have one or two healthy teeth left. Even in severe cases where there may not be enough bone to hold the implants in place, we can perform bone and sinus grafts to add density and volume to the jaw. These are usually performed prior to the implant treatments.

Zygomatic implants are an ideal choice for patients with severe atrophic maxilla, and can also be used in coordination with traditional dental implants to replace both the upper and lower teeth.

The All-on-X technique is well suited for patients who do not have any teeth left, as it places a complete row of functioning teeth on multiple implants. This is a day-long treatment that fully restores your smile in a single procedure, helping to build your confidence and improve your quality of life.

Another full arch restoration treatment is the All-on-4. Similar to the All-on-X, this method adds a fully-functioning row of teeth on just four implants and is a substantially less invasive procedure that gives you back the ability to eat harder foods and share your smile with others.

Q: What makes dental implants such an effective treatment?

A: Dental implants are extremely durable and long-lasting. With regular visits to a hygienist, every six months being the recommended timeframe, implants can easily last 20 to 30 years, and with proper care, they can even last a lifetime.

No creams or solutions are needed as they seamlessly fit into your mouth and even maintain your facial structure. They are the perfect choice to get you smiling again!

Angel Dental Implant Centre accepts referrals for a range of treatments including All-on-4, zygomatic and pterygoid implants, full mouth rehabilitation, surgical extractions, bone augmentation and many more. New patients can claim up to a 20 per cent discount on all dental treatments with the voucher code ADICWESTMINSTER.
