100% Design is the capital’s biggest and original contemporary design show for industry professionals. It will take place during London Design Festival from 23-26 September at Olympia London. Based upon the central theme, ‘Design in Colour’, the event has collaborated closely with trend forecasters WGSN among many others to bring to life the visual experience of using colour across interiors and the built environment. The show will present specially commissioned editorial features, world-leading seminars and live content, alongside over 400 UK and international exhibitors.

New names to watch out for this year include Italian brand Novamobili, a family business which specialises in retail and contract furniture, and luxury design company Sé. The Emerging Brands section of 100% Design will also showcase work from the world’s newly established design talent.

Saturday 26th September is consumer day at the event. There will be a number of talks around the theme of colour, including Sarah Housley from WGSN and Jon Ward from Acuity Intelligence who will discuss how shops are embracing multi sensory design. Karen Haller will talk about the psychology of colour in the home whilst Naomi Cleaver, interior designer and presenter, and Sophie Robinson, stylist and expert on BBC2’s Great Interior Design Challenge will show how to create colour palettes, with tips for mood boards and other practical advice. Website Houzz will also be present for a day of talks surrounding home renovation and design, aimed at the homeowner and professional.

And don’t miss the Half-Three Café – a multi-sensory experience of taste, aroma and colour, celebrating a broad selection of tea by Daniel Rous with Fabrica.

Tickets on the consumer day are usually priced at £15. The Resident readers can get 50% off tickets on Saturday 26 September by using the code REG50 when purchasing online at registration.n200.com/survey/3itdi9drfowz7. For more details on the event, visit 100percentdesign.co.uk
