The clever designers behind London’s folding bicycle brand Brompton Bicycle have teamed up with leather goods company Ettinger to offer an innovative solution to the pesky card clash problem that has hit the headlines and the tube tannoys since contactless payment has been launched.
The collection of leather wallets and Oyster card holders incorporate built-in RFID blocking technology, which prevents two cards being charged simultaneously and blocks unauthorised access to your card data. Inspired by Brompton’s clever design, quality and durability, the collaboration consists of a Travelcard Holder (£45), Billfold Wallet (£85) and a Zip Wallet (£125), all handmade with calf leather.
