Luxury tailoring brand BespokeHQ, sold at The Clerkenwell Collection, and British car manufacturer Aston Martin have joined forces to create a 17-piece menswear collection inspired by the masculinity of the rakish mid-twentieth century gentleman and the classic Aston Martin sports cars of the era

The ready-to-wear Autumn/Winter 2014 collection consists of two- and three-piece suits, alongside jacket and trouser separates, and sees a departure from the previous Aston Martin collection’s slim fit construction; evolving into an unstructured and relaxed silhouette that references late 1950’s and early 1960’s tailoring.

A ready-to-wear cruise collection launches on 11th August with the full Autumn/Winter collection dropping 1st September. Loro Piana silk, wool and linen mix Italian fabrics in a rich colour palette of vibrant indigo, navy blue and warm greens sit alongside classic greys in both plain and check prints. Jackets come in a variety of fully-lined, half-lined or completely unlined, giving an unconstructed lightweight feel for a nonchalant take on tailored formality, perfect for autumnal layering.

Seams are bias bound with striking Aston Martin linings taken from their archives, whilst pockets and lapels emulate the smooth and elegant lines of the DB4, adding a debonair and unique finish to the look.
