Choose Love / Help Refugees Hosts Fashion Fundraiser with Celebrity Stylist Aimee Croysdill
The recent spike in refugees making perilous trips across the Channel in tiny boats has been hitting headlines of late. But while the ‘crossing crisis’ has sparked anger in some, others have decided to Choose Love…
Renowned celebrity stylist Aimee Croysdill is one of the latter, partnering with the Choose Love / Help Refugees charity to raise funds for their vital work supporting refugee women and children living in Northern France.
Choose Love / Help Refugees has grown from a social media campaign into a global movement in just five short years, and as hundreds risk their lives to make the perilous crossing from France to the UK in small boats, the refugee charity is hosting a virtual pop-up shop to raise vital funds to help vulnerable refugees in Northern France.
The fundraising fashion auction, curated by Croysdill, a London-based stylist whose great-grandfather was the first womenswear tailor on Savile Row, features brands such as Mulberry, Sophia Webster, Gucci, Christopher Kane, Moncler, Zimmermann, Grenson, LF Markey, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Olivia Von Halle and Jenny Packham.
Running from Friday 14 August to Sunday 23 August, the auction offers a unique opportunity to bid for designer clothes, shoes, accessories, homewares and beauty products that have been generously donated by celebrities and designers themselves.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to support refugee women and children living in Northern France, where hundreds of children are growing up in makeshift camps and shelters. Tragically, the youngest unaccompanied child currently living in a tent in Calais is just 11 years old.

Choose Love / Help Refugees supports vulnerable women and children in these camps by finding the local organisations doing the most effective work and giving them what they need, from buying essential supplies like tents and clothing to providing volunteers and funding vital services such as education.
So far, the refugee charity has supported over a million people in 14 countries.
