Paddington Central Hosts Charity Gift Wrapping Station

Gift wrapping is a fine art, but it’s not for everyone. So with Christmas just a few days away, why not delegate the fiddly bit and help out those in need in one fell swoop at Paddington Central’s charity gift-wrapping station?

Take your gifts to Paddington Central’s very own floating wrapping station aboard the Paddington Pioneer barge on Grand Union Canal. Simply donate whatever you can and the team will elegantly wrap your presents in recycled paper.

All proceeds will go directly to the St Mary’s Hospital Children’s Fund, which aims to transform St Mary’s Hospital environment to make it more welcoming and comfortable for children and families, while also ensuring every paediatric department is equipped to continue delivering the best possible care.

The team can wrap while you wait, or will text you when your presents are ready to be collected.

The wrapping station is open from 11am-7pm on Wednesday 19 December, Thursday 20 December and Friday 21 December.
