London isn’t short of great hotels, but it is a little short of visitors right now, making it a great time for domestic travellers to take advantage of some great deals during the inaugural Hotel Week London

For Londoners and UK residents, now is a great time to visit the capital and take advantage of less crowded streets and tourist attractions as lockdown restrictions start to ease. Hotel Week London, then, is just what the nation needs as we contemplate a summer of staycations.
The initiative has been created by a collection of London’s greatest hotels to promote and support the re-opening of some of the capital’s finest hotels from 17 May (as anticipated in the government’s roadmap out of lockdown).
Running from 28 May to 6 June 2021, Hotel Week London will bring together a diverse collection of 35 hotels across the capital, all offering discounted rates and unique value-added packages.
Participating properties include luxury hotels such as DUKES London in St James’, the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill in Portman Square, the Corinthia and The Dorchester, as well as more affordable options like The Standard, Ruby Lucy Hotel and Mama Shelter London Shoreditch.
‘There has never been a better time to come and explore London,’ said Jonathan Sloan of MMGY Global, a marketing agency specialising in tourism and hospitality.
‘There has never been a better time to come and explore London’
‘As the hotel sector reopens there is a unique window for domestic travellers to experience the city without the normal influx of international visitors.
‘Hotel Week London gives us the opportunity to escape our homes while enjoying super deals from some of the capital’s finest hotels.’
As well as offering special rates during Hotel Week London, each of the participating hotels has designed exclusive experiences, from transfers by vintage car to room upgrades, Michelin-starred dining, cocktail masterclasses and pizza-making.
The last 12 months have been tough for the UK tourism industry and in particular the London hotel sector. By joining forces and working together as a collective, Hotel Week London hopes to let Londoners and British travellers know that the capital is back in business.
