Looking to lose weight the fun way? A new type of exercise class is spinning into town as Greenwich Dance launches Power Hoop classes on Thursday evenings at The Borough Hall, Royal Hill
Combining hula-hooping and exercise to music, Power Hoop classes involve more than just hip-twirling; the weighted Powerhoop is used in a variety of manoeuvres to work all of the body’s muscle groups.
‘Powerhooping is for everyone,’ says Caron Loudy, Programme Manager at Greenwich Dance said. ‘With the weighted hoop it’s a really effective way to get fit, and it’s also a lot of fun!
‘We offer a huge range of dance classes with fantastic teachers, from African and Egyptian to Ballroom and Ballet, so even if you’ve never danced before, come along and give it a go. Make your New Year’s resolution early and sign up for one of our January courses now!’
