The UK’s first affordable luxury activewear brand, developed in Peckham, is looking for investors.
Catalyst Activewear is a yoga-inspired clothing line that aims to make the transition from the gym to dinner with friends quicker and easier with sassy leggings in an adventurous colour palette and high-tech, quick-drying fabrics – essential for time-poor gym bunnies.
Catalyst Activewear is currently selling 8% of its business through a £100,000 crowdfunding campaign. The campaign launched on 9 of November and closes on 8 December – so you have just a few days left to invest in the action!
Founded by Daniel Roy, ex-equity derivatives strategist for Credit Suisse, and Radana Lancman, Fashion and Architectural Designer who studied at the London College of Fashion, Catalyst Activewear marries elements of transitional design and lifestyle demands to create an eco-luxury brand made for movement.
‘People are working out more. That’s a fact,’ says Radana Lancman, Designer and CoFounder of Catalyst Activewear. ‘But that doesn’t mean that they are working any less. We thought, let’s be creative, let’s push the limits of what’s possible. We use performance fabrics and create timeless pieces of the highest quality that take you from the mat to the rest of your life.’
‘We’re already selling a product incredibly superior to the current market leaders,’ says Daniel Roy, CoFounder of Catalyst Activewear. ‘It’s about 20% cheaper, at an average price point of £60, while creating everything in the UK. Catalyst has huge potential. It’s scalable and sustainable. This is a rare opportunity to own a slice of a forward thinking company, born and bred in the UK at the earliest seed stage.’
